Uzumaki: Spiral into Horror surprises with new trailer

During the San Diego International Comic Convention A new promotional video has been revealed for the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Junji Ito“Uzumaki: Spiral into Terror“The video confirms this. The premiere is scheduled for September 28th. both on Adult Swim and streaming services.
Although the series is confirmed with only four episodes, has been delayed on several occasions. Originally scheduled to premiere in 2020, it was delayed to 2021, then to October 2022, and then indefinitely to June 2022.

Synopsis of Uzumaki
In the city of Kurouzu-cho, Kirie Goshima lives a relatively normal life with her family. However, one day, when she is walking to the station to meet her boyfriend, Shuuichi Saito, she notices her father staring at a snail shell in an alley. Without thinking much, Kirie tells Shuuichi about the situation, to which he replies that his father has also been acting very strangely. Shuuichi also reveals his desire to escape the village with Kirie, claiming that people have become obsessed with the spirals. But his father's obsession soon turns deadly, setting off a chain of horrific and inexplicable events.
