Witch Hat Workshop panel on the Crunchyroll Stage at Anime Expo 2024 revealed some highly anticipated updates about the anime, including the premiere date and key staff members.

This was two years after the announcement in April 2022.

Witch Hat Workshop The anime also revealed its first trailer at the expo, along with a new visual.

The anime is scheduled to release in 2025. The exact date, however, has not yet been revealed.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Witch Hat Workshop is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kamome Shirahama. It was serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Morning Two magazine since July 2016, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankobon volumes in February 2024.

As of July 2024, the manga has over 5.5 million copies in circulation.

Kodansha describes the manga's plot as:
