In an exciting announcement at Anime Expo 2024, it was revealed that the upcoming Witch Hat Workshop The anime will feature music composed by Yuka Kitamura, who is known for her work in Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Dark soulsbetween others.

The composer shared her excitement about being a part of the anime on her official X account, stating: “I am pleased to announce that I will be composing the music for the anime 'Witch Hat Atelier'.
I am grateful and happy to be able to color the beautiful world of this Animation with my music.
Stay tuned for more updates in the future!“

Fans are more than excited about this collaboration and took to social media to express this. Many were of the opinion that it was a great achievement for the studio to have Yuka Kitamura working on the project.

They also noted that this would be the composer's first time creating music for an anime series and expressed excitement for Kitamura's debut in the anime industry.

Witch Hat Workshop is scheduled to be released in 2025. The exact date, however, has not yet been revealed.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime as soon as it airs.

Witch Hat Workshop is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kamome Shirahama. It was serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Morning Two magazine since July 2016, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankobon volumes in February 2024.

As of July 2024, the manga has over 5.5 million copies in circulation.

Kodansha describes the manga's plot as:
