The market size has surpassed three trillion yen and continues to reach new highs<\/strong><\/em>\u201cYahata said, before noting that the medium has expanded beyond a small group of fans who bought Blu-rays and DVDs. <strong>With anime now spreading across the world, Yahata was asked whether Japan\u2019s \u201cunique\u201d and \u201cradical\u201d form of expression needed to change.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<em>I don&#039;t think there has been any major change.<\/em>\u00bb, said Yahata. \u00ab<em><strong>The fundamental narration, precision of action, etc. have not changed, but there may be a shift towards adopting more acceptable expressions. <\/strong>To be seen by many people, expressions that neither hurt nor deceive are a fact. <strong>It&#039;s not something negative, but perhaps an evolution.<\/strong> When videograms were the center of attention, there was a tendency to buy only those who wanted to buy. <strong>Now that we&#039;ve distributed to a wider market with a service that adults and children can watch anytime, awareness is changing.<\/strong><\/em>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Yahata&#039;s words have raised concerns among some anime fans, who believe that the appeal of Japanese anime lies in its failure to cater to Western sensibilities. <strong>Some creators<\/strong>as the director of the episodes \u201cBlack Jack\u201d and \u201cMysterious Disappearances\u201d, Kentaro Mizuno, <strong>share the same sentiment, posting via Twitter that \u201canime could easily fall into the trap of political correctness to sell itself in both Western and Chinese cultural spheres.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"627\" src=\"https:\/\/animangeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Disney-quer-tornar-o-anime-\u2018politicamente-correto.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-329843\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Others disagree that the continued globalization of anime is a cause for concern.<\/strong>like \u201cOne Piece: Red\u201d director and \u201cCode Geass\u201d director Goro Taniguchi, who states that the anime has always taken into consideration the reception overseas and made changes to be enjoyed by everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Yahata concluded his interview by saying: \u201c<em><strong>I think no matter the scenario, the points that impress people remain the same. <\/strong>What is the best universal narrative of any era?
