DanMachi Season 5 Gets First Trailer and HiDive Simulcast Release Window

HIDIVE has acquired the highly anticipated fifth season of Dan Machi (Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?), set to be one of the most explosive seasons of the fan-favorite fantasy action anime to date.
Through an exclusive press release, HIDIVE will simultaneously broadcast Dan Machi Season 5 of the Fall 2024 anime season will premiere later this year. The series will air in the US and Canada, as well as in overseas markets such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. In celebration of the Dan Machi 10th anniversary of the light novel series last year and the upcoming 10th anniversary of the anime in 2025, HIDIVE also released the first English subtitled film Dan Machi Season 5 trailer, which readers can see below, along with new official art for the series.

DanMachi Fans Await the Upcoming Release of the Creator's Wistoria: Wand and Sword Anime
Dan Machi Fans have had countless celebrations since the novel's 10th anniversary. Dan Machi Season 5 joins other recent HIDIVE licensing announcements, including Oshi no Ko returning for season 2, Plus Size Elf and I trim everything, all arriving during the summer 2024 anime season. Meanwhile, Whisper me a love song and the popular Jellyfish can't swim at night are currently streaming on the platform, with the latter recently voted among the top anime recommendations of Spring 2024 by Animate Times, one of Japan's largest anime-centric outlets.
Dan Machi Season 5's official description reads: "Goddess Festival – A fruit festival that brings the labyrinthine city of Orario to life. Goddesses symbolizing fertility are enshrined on the altar, and among them is the Goddess of Beauty. Bell Cranel, who survived and returned to her daily life from the depths of the dungeon, is here and ready to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Goddess Festival until she receives a letter from a girl in a small bar in a corner of Orario – 'For you, Sir, a date just the two of us at the next Goddess Festival from Syr.' Syr's single-minded determination will drive Bell and the labyrinthine city mad. Meanwhile, the Einherjar, the warriors who claim to be the 'strongest,' are now suddenly on the move…"
