In the previous episode, Hotaru and Hananoi finally became an official couple—what luck!—our protagonist realized all the feelings she has for Hananoi and knows that although they don't have the same vision of love, with a little respect and teamwork, they can build a healthy relationship. So she decides to have an action plan to find out what's bothering Hananoi—referring to things she can do, something like non-negotiables—and he asks her the same questions, they're both very committed!
What is more, Hotaru felt a kind of discomfort seeing Hananoi being so loving towards someone she shared the same name with.So, he had a strange approach to what we know as jealousy. Let's remember that the boys now work together and do their best to nurture their relationship. They're in the early stages of their romance and can't stay apart for long—ah, spring romance in high school!
On the other hand, Hananaoi vigorously confronted the store manager —who suspected the boys were doing a good job because he suspected they might be distracted by being a couple— and Yato, the elementary school classmate who kept calling Hotako Hotaru.
Near the end of the episode, something shocking happens, It seems Hananoi went to the same elementary school as Hotaru! When will they talk about this and what might happen next?
