Adult Swim's San Diego Comic-Con 2024 airing schedule hints at an anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani's manga Fighting Rooster.

The information was part of the programming list released by Adult Swim's official Twitter account. However, the post was soon deleted.

The schedule lists Fighting Rooster in the First Look category, suggesting that an anime adaptation may be revealed soon.

In addition to Fighting RoosterAdult Swim's programming also revealed that early searches for Uzumaki and Lazarus anime will be revealed.

Written and illustrated by Shu Sakuratani, Fighting Rooster began on Hero's Inc.'s Comiplex manga website on December 18, 2020. The series' first tankōbon volume was released on May 1, 2021. As of January 29, 2024, seven volumes have been released.

The manga is licensed in North America by Viz Media. It is also licensed in Argentina and Spain by Editorial Ivrea, and in Brazil and Mexico by Panini Comics.
