Synopsis of Hell Professor Nube
What seems like a normal day at Dōmori Elementary School is interrupted by some strange phenomenon, usually targeting one of Cloud's own students. Cloud is forced to act, most often using the power of the Demonic Hand to help solve the problem, but sometimes the solution lies in another of his spiritual weapons, or in reasoning with, or otherwise appeasing, the threatening entity. In the end, things always seem to return to normal, and Cloud and his students have learned something from the experience. For the most part, the series maintains an episodic format, forgoing an overarching plot in favor of more character-driven action, though there are several recurring antagonists, as well as some longer story arcs later in the series.
