One Piece The series boasts intricate worldbuilding and is known for many reasons—one of the key features that captivated fans is its vast array of Devil Fruits. These mystical fruits grant individuals incredible and diverse abilities. Fans are introduced to Devil Fruits through the series' beloved protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, and his Devil Fruit, Gomu Gomu, which recently underwent its own incredible metamorphosis with the introduction of Luffy's Gear 5 transformation.

As fans continue to follow Luffy and his Straw Hat pirate crew through the Grand Line and the New World, they discover that many Devil Fruits aren't practical, powerful, or cool—many Devil Fruits stand out because of their strange or unique properties.

10. Bara Bara no Mi (Buggy)

The Bara Bara, wielded by the irrepressible Buggy the Clown, possesses a capricious and unsettling power. This Paramecia-type Devil Fruit allows Buggy to disassemble his body at will, transforming him into a living puzzle. This unique trait makes him immune to most physical attacks, as blades and projectiles pass harmlessly through his segmented form.

His ability to separate and control his body parts allows him to create interesting tactics. By launching his segmented limbs like projectiles, Buggy can perform unexpected stealth attacks, catching opponents off guard.

9. Woshu Woshu no Mi (Tsuru)

By eating the Woshu Woshu no Mi, an individual transforms into a Human Laundry. They gain the ability to wash and hang people and objects as if they were clothes. In this state, the people are immobilized. According to Oda, it also cleanses people's hearts, purging them of their dirty thoughts.

Currently possessed by Vice Admiral Tsuru, she uses it to capture pirates and make them a little nicer. However, the fruit may still have certain undisclosed capabilities.

8. Shibo Shibo no Mi (Charlotte Smoothie)

The Shibo Shibo no Mi, which Charlotte Smoothies ate, grants the user the power to draw moisture into living and non-living things. It also allows her to transfer moisture to herself and her weapons, making them gigantic.

Smoothie is also shown using her Devil Fruit powers to create and serve uniquely flavored drinks—like a giraffe or a volcanic rock—to Big Mom's guests. However, like the Shibo Shibo no Mi, Smoothie has yet to demonstrate the full power of her Devil Fruit abilities.

7. Jake Jake no Mi (Kelly Funk)

While Zoan, Mythological-type, and Logia-type Devil Fruits provide great power, peculiar abilities can be seen primarily with Paramecia. Jake Jake in Mide Kelly Funk is a prime example of this.

The Jacket Fruit transforms its user into a Jacket Human. This means they can be used by others. By doing so, Kelly can control the user's body, increasing their strength and abilities.

6. Tama Tama no Mi (Tamago)

While the Paramecia type offers creative new powers, the Zoan type also offers rare abilities. One of these is the Egg Fruit. Eaten by one of Doflamingo's loyal crew members, it transforms Baron Tamago into a Human Egg.

Like a human egg, Baron Tamago's constitution is that of an egg. But while this may seem unsettling, it is surprisingly powerful. Once Baron Tamago is broken, his second form, Viscount Hiyoko, is formed.

He essentially becomes a girl. However, there's another transformation when Viscount Hiyoko is defeated—Count Niwatori. In this form, he becomes an adult rooster. This is his strongest and most resilient form, though he eventually reverts to Baron Tamago.

5. Hobi Hobi no Mi (Sugar)

The Hobi Hobi no Mi Fruit, wielded by Sugar of the Donquixote Family, allows Sugar to transform people into toys through physical contact. Once transformed, these individuals lose their identities, and their loved ones instantly forget them.

However, Sugar's use of this ability isn't without consequences. After eating the Devil Fruit, Sugar stops aging. Her Devil Fruit abilities are also only active when she's conscious.

Automatically dissipates the moment she goes to sleep or is knocked out. To combat this in Dressrosa, she hasn't slept since she first used her ability on Kyros.

4. Yomi Yomi no Mi (Brook)

The Yomi Yomi no Mi, wielded by the enigmatic Brook, grants its user a power shrouded in mystery and melancholy. This Paramecia-type Devil Fruit strengthens the user's soul, allowing them to return to their body after death and resurrect themselves.

Brook demonstrates this, but he doesn't have the best experience. Brook's soul spent years searching for his original body, and when it finally found it, it was reduced to nothing but bones. Even so, Brook is still alive and has been given a second chance at life.

He is now a living skeleton with complete control over his soul. He can manipulate his soul in various ways and can even control the souls of others as well.

3. Nikyu Nikyu no Mi (Kuma)

The Paw Fruit is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability to repel and redirect anything it touches.

Consumed by former warlord Bartholomew Kuma, this power allows him to create paw-shaped repulsion bubbles, effectively throwing objects or even intangible concepts away from him.

The power of the Paw-Paw Fruit is what allows Kuma to save the Straw Hat Pirates in the Sabaody Archipelago. He sends them flying to various locations, which serve as training grounds during the two years they're separated.

2. Wara Wara no Mi (Basil Hawkins)

Eaten by Basil Hawkins, the Straw-Straw Fruit transforms him into a straw man. But contrary to what it suggests, it doesn't simply create and manipulate straws. Instead, the power it grants is more akin to powerful sorcery.

Hawkins can use his powers to summon and transform into a giant straw avatar to fight. But the real highlight of his ability is the fact that he can transfer any damage he takes to other individuals, as long as he has a doll representing his target.

1. Ope Ope no Mi (Trafalgar D. Water Law)

The Ope-Ope no Mi – one of the most sought-after Paramecia-type Devil Fruits – grants its user the incredible power to create spherical areas in which they have absolute control over everything.

This spatial manipulation ability allows the user to cut and rearrange objects within the created area as if performing surgery, earning the fruit the reputation as the strongest Devil Fruit of all.

While in these spheres, the user can perform miraculous operations on themselves or others. They can even easily switch bodies between two individuals.

It is also said that the fruit's ultimate power is something known as Operation Finale, in which the user sacrifices their life to grant a target eternal youth.
