Synopsis of The Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easygoing

As the son of legendary actress Subaru Ayase, Yuu had high expectations placed on him after transferring to Saika Academy, a prestigious school where students can hone their talents. However, unlike his mother, Yuu is completely talentless. Viewed as a complete mediocre, he wouldn't stand a chance of standing shoulder to shoulder with the three emperors of Saika Academy: the Mikadono sisters, Miwa, Niko, and Kazuki, who are prodigies in shogi, martial arts, and performing arts, respectively.

When Subaru's friend agrees to take in his son, Yuu sets out to fulfill his mother's dying wish: to form a happy family, after having been unable to establish a mother-son relationship due to differences in talent. It turns out that his mother's friend is actually the Mikadono sisters' father. Keeping his mother's wish in mind, Yuu tries to create a family bond with the sisters. However, due to their extreme focus on their respective specialties, they show little interest in opening up not only to him but also to each other. Nevertheless, Yuu strives to continually support the three prodigies, as his kindness and affection restore the bond between the sisters.
