Author gives new illustration to one of the favorite heroines

Kohei Horikoshi, creator of My Hero Academia, resumed the habit of publishing sketches of his anime characters. And for the most recent episode of the seventh season, he published one of Mei Hatsume.

She is a character who appears occasionally in the series and resides at UA Academy. She has no Quirk or combat-focused ability. Hers is Zoom, which allows her to focus on a target 5 km away.

She could very well focus on being a sniper, but Mei is nothing like that. My Hero Academia. She is gifted with a prodigious mind, is very intelligent and works with tremendous speed.

She's a brilliant engineer whose creations aim to support other heroes and heroines. In the anime's most recent episode, she receives a visit from Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Iida to help them repair some items they use in battle.

Horikoshi, anticipating Mei Hatsume's appearance in My Hero Academiaposted her design on her Twitter account shortly before the premiere of the episode known as 'The story where we become heroes'.

This shows the new visor he's wearing, which resembles a horn when worn on his head. As for the message this mangaka shared, it's simply a reminder of the time when the anime episodes were released.
