Yuu Tsurusakithe author of the manga “Bishoujo Juniku Oji-san costume for (Life with an ordinary guy who reincarnated into a total fantasy knockout)”, caused a huge stir on social media after sharing a strong message on your Twitter accountaddressed to a segment of her fans who are unsatisfactory in their criticism of her work. The author expressed her frustration with those who, instead of appreciating her work, use comments to suggest how the story should have developed.
In his message, Tsurusaki wrote:
- «Every now and then, in manga comments, I see opinions like "I wish it were like this" or "That would have been better." Every time I see this, I feel like you should use that imagination to create something yourself! Don't waste it in the manga comments section, draw it yourself! Draw!».

Tsurusaki's work has been acclaimed for its originality and unique approach, particularly for a plot twist that became a trend on social media at the time. This twist, which involved a change in the gender roles of the protagonist duo, surprised many readers, but also generated diverse opinions and criticism. These reactions are likely related to the author's recent message, which appears to be tired of the unsolicited expectations and suggestions from some of her followers.
Tsurusaki's message resonated with many creators and readers, generating a variety of responses on Twitter. Below are some of the most notable comments:
- «Thinking 'I would do it this way' is the beginning of creation».
- «I am really sorry».
- «That's what doujinshi is for, and that's what Twitter is for.».
- «This reminded me of what Professor Tite Kubo said».
- «And sometimes it's not just a word or two. They unleash a long fantasy, and it already feels like a draft. I want to tell you that this is already a script.».
- «That's right... It's a more than correct opinion!».
- «But then people come along and say, '○○ or my sister would do it better than you.' Even if you ignore them, they take away the idea. We couldn't leave out those who only give opinions.».
- «You could come as someone who writes novels».
- «There's the fear of being accused of plagiarism, but the thought of 'I would have done it this way!' or 'Why didn't they do it that way?' is a powerful force for creation. When you see good work, it makes you want to create.».
- «The talent to improve something existing and the talent to create something new are different.».
- «This is true, but there are those who are satisfied with the mental complement and cannot grasp it.».
- «If these comments were meant to request changes to the work, I'd understand the annoyance. But if after reading it, I post a personal review and the author tells me, "If you have any complaints, please do so yourself," I'd want to say, "Are you Hashimoto's or something?"».
- «That's exactly why I think game developers should also play other companies' games. Thinking "I would do it this way" generates a lot of ideas that can be applied to your own creation.».
- «That's one of the foundations of creation, right?».
