Kurama is one of the most powerful tailed beasts in the world. naruto have ever lived. When it comes to the nine tailed beasts, Kurama is certainly the strongest of them all. Over the years, fans have seen many users of Kurama's powers, and each is unique in its own way.

That said, not everyone possesses similar levels of power. At the same time, different users utilize different Kurama powers. While some are jinchūriki, others only have access to Kurama's chakra, making them unique in terms of strength.

6 Kinkaku and Ginkaku

The Gold and Silver Brothers of Kumogakure

Kinkaku and Ginkaku are the Gold and Silver brothers from the Hidden Cloud. These two powerful ninjas existed in the Naruto series long ago. They were believed to have been consumed by the Nine-Tails. However, they began to eat the beast from within, eventually forcing it to vomit them out.

Surviving this ordeal granted them the powers of the Nine-Tails to some extent. They gained enormous chakra reserves and, more importantly, the ability to manifest the tailed beast cloak and advanced degrees of tailed beast powers. With the tools of the Sage of the Six Paths, they were nearly unstoppable. When they were revived in the Fourth Great Ninja War, they demonstrated their potential as a threat. In fact, even Ay wanted to fight alone to stop the Gold and Silver brothers.

5 Uzumaki myth

Hashirama's wife sealed Kurama inside her

Mito Uzumaki was the first Kurama jinchuriki that fans met in the naruto Series. She became the beast's jinchūriki after Hashirama ripped it from Madara Uchiha during their battle at the Valley of the End. Mito managed to seal the beast within herself and lived with it until the end of her days. It is unknown whether she could actually control Kurama's chakra in any way.

It's also unknown whether she ever used this chakra. However, logic dictates that, since Mito had this beast within her, she likely gained some boosts from it. Fans don't know the details of how much of a boost she received from this tailed beast within her.

4 Himawari Uzumaki

Kurama reformed within Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki was recently revealed to be a user of the tailed beast chakra. It's unknown which tailed beast is inside her at this point. It's either Kurama, which she likely received from Naruto, or a different version of the Nine-Tails.

It's also unclear whether she has a part of Kurama inside her or the whole thing. Fans will likely learn more about this later. Right now, what's clear is that Himawari has tremendous hidden power that she hasn't yet unleashed. Boruto will soon explore her powers further, and it will certainly be a very interesting addition to the story.

3 Kushina Uzumaki

Kurama was transferred from Mito Uzumaki to Kushina

Kushina Uzumaki became Kurama's jinchūriki after Mito. She had this tailed beast sealed within her for many years. Kushina was also able to harness the tailed beast's chakra to some extent. Fans know she received a significant chakra boost and, more importantly, could, under certain conditions, use her cloak.

Kushina could also restrain the tailed beasts to a significant extent using her adamantine chains. Overall, when it comes to Kurama's many jinchūriki, Kushina certainly ranks among the best.

2 Minato Namikaze

Minato had the Yin half of Kurama inside

Minato became Kurama's jinchūriki moments before his death. Using the Reaper Death Seal, he sealed half of the beast within himself, while the other half was sealed within his son, Naruto. When Minato reincarnated in the Ninja War, he was able to use Nine-Tails Chakra Mode from the beginning.

Minato managed to completely tame the Tailed Beast, becoming a perfect jinchūriki. His use of the Tailed Beast's chakra was absolutely immense, and this only showed what a genius he truly was. Eventually, Minato's half of the Nine-Tails was transferred to his son, Naruto Uzumaki.

1 Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto formed a perfect bond with Kurama

By far the biggest Kurama user in narutois Naruto Uzumaki himself. Naruto was transformed into a jinchūriki at birth. Many years later, he managed to grow stronger and eventually tame the powers of this tailed beast.

Together, they fought many battles and defeated many enemies, even the Otsutsuki gods. Unfortunately, Naruto lost Kurama when the beast died while fighting Isshiki using Baryon Mode.
