Kyoto Animation, affectionately known as KyoAni, is one of Japan's largest and most beloved animation studios. Among his most iconic works are “Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu”, “Clannad”, “K-On!”, and more recently, titles such as “Violet Evergarden” and “Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon”. The studio has been applauded not only for the quality of its animations, but also for its ability to tell deeply emotional stories.

However, in 2019, Kyoto Animation suffered one of the most devastating tragedies in the history of the anime industry when its main building was set on fire in a premeditated attack, resulting in the loss of 36 precious lives and numerous injuries. Despite the immense pain and hardship, the studio demonstrated incredible resilience, resuming operations and continuing to produce high-quality anime. In the years since the incident, Kyoto Animation has released successful projects such as Violet Evergarden: The Movie (2020) and the second season of Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon (2021), proving its continued importance in the industry.

In fact, in recent weeks information has leaked about a possible sequel to Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, one of Kyoto Animation's most recent and successful titles. The information has been circulating among fans and specialized media, and the expectation is that this new edition will be officially confirmed at the event on September 21st. Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon has established itself as one of the studio's most beloved franchises, thanks to its blend of humor, captivating characters, and unique visual style.
