The production of the anime “Makeine: Many Lost Heroines! (Make Heroine ga Oosugiru!)” issued a statement asking fans to respect the rules of the Aichi Prefectural Jishukan Institute, which served as the model for the anime adaptation. The statement reads as follows:
- Regarding the Jishukan Institute of Aichi Prefecture, which provided us with its collaboration for this project, We strongly urge you to refrain from any actions that may disturb students, school staff, and nearby residents, such as entering the premises without permission.. If anyone is caught engaging in such or similar acts, school staff may approach them. To ensure student safety and protect their privacy, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The series, whose synopsis is described below: “Kazuhiko Nukumizu, a self-proclaimed 'background character,' accidentally witnessed his popular classmate Anna Yanami being rejected by her childhood friend. Since then, Kazuhiko has been involved with several loser heroines, including Anna.“, is currently airing. The anime adaptation is being produced by A-1 Pictures Studiosknown for delivering projects of great visual and narrative quality.
The author of the original light novels, Takibi Amamorialso talked about it on Twitter: «We ask that you respect the rules and refrain from unauthorized entry, taking photographs, or using the premises for unauthorized purposes. People from places like Toyohashi City cooperated in good faith.».

Regarding the above-mentioned collaboration, it should be noted that Aichi Prefectural Jishukan Institute was used as a model for the anime adaptation, that is, The school that appears in the anime is based on the design of this school. The production asks fans to avoid inappropriate behavior which can be disturbing to students and school staff.
- «I thought they would eventually issue a warning like this».
- «Even if they don't enter the premises, walking around the school also seems inappropriate to me.».
- «If you want to visit iconic places, the only thing you can do is enroll or enroll your children in school.».
- «There will always be idiots who do things like this.».
- «When it was just a novel it was fine, but when it became an anime the number of fans increased and many people appeared wanting to take pictures in exactly the same place.».
- «It's a form of tourist terrorism practiced by some out-of-control otakus. These idiots seek recognition. I think that when adapting an anime, they should use public facilities, fictional buildings, universities, or already demolished structures, so as not to disturb students and staff.».
- «Can't you understand this with common sense? It's regrettable».
- «There are always people like that when something becomes popular... Don't they think about taking care of the work they love so much?».
- «Even if it wasn't a model for the anime, it's something that should be obvious.».
- «When something gets attention, that kind of warning needs to be issued… I don’t think there’s been any real damage done yet, but…»
