During the San Diego Comic-Con event it was officially confirmed that the manga written and illustrated by Shu Sakuratani“Fighting Rooster (Niwatori Fighter)”, will have an anime adaptation of Media Viewing in collaboration with Hero's Inc.. The press release included production details, but did not list a scheduled release date.

“Fighting Rooster”It is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Shuu Sakuratani. It was serialized on the manga website Complex of Hero's Inc.. since December 2020. Previously the author published the manga “Dragon T” between May 2015 and November 2019, but did not receive an anime adaptation.

• Daisuke Suzuki (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, D4DJ All Mix, BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios SANZIGEN.
• Hiroshi Seko (Shingeki no Kyojin, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100) is responsible for writing and supervising the scripts.

Synopsis of the Fighting Rooster

The story takes us to Japan where, three years ago, mutant demons began appearing. While some of these demons are harmless or even beneficial to humans, others pose a major problem. These mutant demons are created from humans suffering from extreme emotional stress or unresolved trauma and have begun to evolve, becoming more intelligent and dangerous. Amidst this chaos, a lone rooster named Keiji travels through various cities in Japan, defeating the mutant demons he encounters. His ultimate goal is to find and kill the demon known as "The White Demon," who murdered his sister, to avenge her death.
