The remake of TRIGUN is preparing its return

After the conclusion of the anime “TRIGUN STAMPEDE", which shared the promise of a "Final Phase" on the horizon, we now know the official title of the upcoming series. Announced today at the Anime Expo 2024 panel, the new series title was revealed as "TRIGUN STARGAZE“. To commemorate the occasion, the original creator Yasuhiro Nightow shared a special illustration.

Based on the manga Yasuhiro Nightow, Kenji Muto (episode director of “Land of the Bright“) drives “TRIGUN STAMPEDE” in the study Orange Studiowith Takehiko Oki in writing and Kouji Tajima (character artist of “GANTZ:0“) providing updated character designs.

“TRIGUN STAMPEDE”was first broadcast on January 2023. The original series aired on April to September 1998with a total of 26 episodes. It was produced by the studio hospice and directed by Satoshi Nishimura. The character design was done by Takahiro Yoshimatsu and the music was composed by Tsuneo Imahori. This anime stood out for its mix of science fiction, western and comedybeyond its deep philosophical and emotional explorations.
