For Hayao Miyazaki, the golden age of anime is over.

Goro, son of Hayao Miyazaki, founder of Studio Ghibli, recently attended the Cannes Film Festival and received the prestigious Palme d'Or. There, he discussed what's next for Studio Ghibli and his father's thoughts on current anime.
Regarding the first thing, he commented 'Everything is really cloudy regarding the future of the studio'. To the above, Goro Miyazaki added 'and I really don't know, but I think my dad has ideas for a new movie'.
It is certainly great news that this famous director is thinking about another film, especially after the success it has had. The boy and the heronrecognized internationally and at the Oscars.
