During the Anime Expo 2024 event, the producer Yuki Watanabe (Pony Canyon) revealed that the second season of the anime adaptation of “Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier)” will be produced by the studios Passion. It should be noted that the first season was produced by Seven Arches and it didn't receive any negative reviews, so this studio change is really a surprise.

  Yuya Hirose: "We started dubbing the scenes. New characters appear in the second season. Even compared to the first season, it's drawn in a sexier and more suggestive way."

• Yuki Watanabe: "For the first season, we made you wait quite a while, so we want to get it to you as soon as possible. At this point, we can't give you a date."

• Yuya Hirose: "First, the protagonist is a boy, and he's really cool. He has a great voice! Besides the sexy scenes, the battle scenes are great. Whether you're male or female, you'll love it."

• Yuki Watanabe: "The second season will be drawn by Passione. They draw the characters very well. For the second season, we have new characters with battle scenes and rewards. I hope everyone watches and enjoys it."

The first season aired during the season of Winter-2024 (January-March) and had a total of twelve episodes. For its part, Takahiro (who is also the author of the successful franchise Akame ga Kill!) and Takemura They started publishing the manga through the service Shonen Jump Plus from the publisher Shueisha in January 2019.

Synopsis of Mato Seihei no Slave

When entrances to a different dimension known as "Mato" appear throughout Japan, a new resource known as "Peaches" is discovered that grants unique abilities only to women. However, dangerous monsters called "Yomotsu Shuuki" also roam the Mato and have been responsible for numerous disasters since then. To combat them, the government formed the Anti-Demon Corps, an elite group of women empowered by the Peaches.

One day, a high school student named Yuuki Wakura was walking home from school when he suddenly got lost in a wooded area. When he called for help, he was immediately rescued by Kyouka Uzen, head of the Anti-Demon Corps' Seventh Unit. Recognizing his potential and needing him to make her Peach power more effective, she asked Yuuki to join the Anti-Demon Corps, becoming her slave—a position she may find more enjoyable than she initially thought…
