8 Muichiro Tokito

The Mist Hashira in Kimetsu No Yaiba, Muichiro Tokito, is a highly talented swordsman. Muichiro is the youngest Hashira, and despite this, he has always demonstrated his talent. His mastery of the sword is such that just two months after picking one up, he earned the title of Hashira.

His talent is such that he received praise from Kokushibo, the top one of the Twelve Kozuki. Kokushibo found Muichiro's abilities beyond his expectations.

7 Sanemi Shinazugawa

With his Wind Breath, he is an extremely powerful swordsman, especially on the offensive, and is a powerful foe for any demon who dares to stand in his way.

6 Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri Kanroji is the Hashira of Love in Demon Slayer and she had the opportunity to showcase many of her skills during the events in the Swordsman Village. When it comes to swordsmanship, Mitsuri is quite unique. Her sword is more like a whip, which she uses with her Love Breath to perform some of the series' most impressive techniques.

His sword is so unique that no one can use it, and one wrong move with it could spell his end. The nature of his sword is such that it grants him a very long range to attack his enemies, making it very versatile.

5 Kyojuro Rengoku

Rengoku is a character who had a short life in Demon Slayer. He is the Flame Hashira and had an important role to play during the unfolding events of the Mugen Train Arc.

Even though fans would have loved to see more of him, he met a tragic end there. His sword skills were incredible, so much so that he could even mentor other Hashira with ease. Just looking at Mitsuri and seeing her own sword skills, it's easy to see that she had a very talented teacher.

4 Giyu Tomioka

Giyu Tomioka is the Water Hashira in Demon Slayer and the first Hashira fans see in the series, as he appears early on. Akaze, one of the most powerful demons in the series, specifically the Upper Level Three, was very impressed by Giyu's swordsmanship skills when they faced off.

Overall, when it comes to Hashira, Giyu is quite skilled, and his Water Breathing style has many impressive techniques to choose from.

3 Obanai Iguro

Obanai Iguro is one of the Hashiras in Demon Slayer and displays some incredible swordsmanship skills throughout the series, making him one of the best among the Hashira.

During Hashira Training, he led the program, which consisted of teaching Demon Slayers the art of the sword. This is a great showcase of his swordsmanship. With his Serpent Breath, he uses his sword with snake-like movements. His sword is shaped like a snake and perfectly complements his fighting style.

2 Tanjiro Kamado

Demon Slayer's protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, is a prodigy when it comes to wielding a sword. While he begins Demon Slayer using Water Breathing, he eventually learns Sun Breathing—the original breathing style invented by Yoriichi.

Solar Breathing isn't a breathing style that everyone can use, and most who have tried it have failed. Instead of creating other breathing styles, Tanjiro, however, was able to learn.

1 Yoriichi Tsugikuni

Without a doubt, the most skilled swordsman who ever lived in Demon Slayeris none other than Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the man who invented Solar Breathing and consequently caused the invention of all other Breathing Styles.

Yoriichi was a terrifying presence to any demon, even Muzan. He was so powerful that he died of old age and was never defeated, a contrast to most Demon Slayers, who never reach such an advanced age.
