In a recent discussion on a Reddit forum, members intensely debated the issue: “What would be your 10/10 anime?“This type of question always generates countless opinions, since the perception of perfection in an anime is highly subjective and depends on several factors that vary between viewers.

For some, A perfect anime must have a well-developed and coherent plot. The story must be compelling, capable of holding the viewer's interest from beginning to end, with well-executed twists and a satisfying ending. A solid, well-structured plot is essential for an anime to receive the highest rating.
Another crucial factor is character development.Characters should be complex, with well-defined personalities that evolve throughout the series. Viewers look for characters they can identify with or empathize with, as well as memorable villains who add depth to the story.
Animation and art also play a vital role. Smooth animation and visually appealing aesthetics can significantly enhance the anime viewing experience. Details in character design, settings, and special effects are factors fans consider when evaluating a series' quality.
Music and sound should not be underestimated. A striking soundtrack that complements the scenes and good overall sound quality contribute to the viewer's immersion in the anime world. Memorable openings and endings also tend to be highlights in the overall rating.
Furthermore, originality and creativity are factors that many fans consider essential. An anime that offers a fresh perspective, innovative ideas, and breaks the usual clichés is more likely to be rated 10/10.
- «Legend of the Galactic Heroes is one of the few I've seen that's at that level.».
- «Hajime no Ippo. This anime moved me like no other.».
- «Mafia Psycho 100».
- «Boticário Diaries, I don't know why but it's so good, from the introductions and animation to the romance».
- «Great Teacher Onizuka».
- «Cowboy Bebop and Monster».
- «Vinland Saga».
- «Monster».
- «Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood».
- «Code Geass is one of the best, really».
- «Gurren Lagann. Perfect, no objections.».
- «I'll give a more controversial opinion and say Durarara!! I've never liked anything as much as I liked that anime».
- «Nana, I'm just a girl».
- «Violet Evergarden».
- «Hibike! Euphonium is a 10/10. If you count the series I really liked and ignore the quality of the animation and soundtrack, there are some shows that, no matter how many times I watch them, I still enjoy them as if it were the first time. Hunter x Hunter, AOT, Frieren, The Apothecary Diaries, Violet Evergarden, Only Yesterday, Porco Rosso, Oregairu, and many more. But Hibike! Euphonium is at the top for me because I truly think it has incredible animation, divine music, and a beautiful story. The story is so good that even with mediocre animation and music, it would still be a 10/10. There are only three series that made me cry. The first is AOT after the finale. I've been watching it for years, so both the heartbreaking ending and the memories of my childhood made it very emotional for me. Clannad is the second (obviously, haha). Hibike! Euphonium made me feel all kinds of emotions. I was angry, happy, sad, and angry with the characters in this series, not just Kumiko (the protagonist), but other characters as well. I highly recommend checking out Hibike! Euphonium. It's incredibly underrated.».
- «I haven't seen these recommendations yet, so: Haikyuu! Kono Oto Tomare! Chihayafuru».
- «March comes in like a lion. Simply some of the most beautiful animation in all of anime, the visual storytelling is stunning, and all the characters feel so human, their struggles so visceral and real. Just a beautiful story, beautifully told.».
- «Madoka Magica».
- «The Monogatari, Vinland Saga, and March series arrive like a lion».
- «Perfect Blue, Cowboy Bebop».
- «Steins;Gate, without a doubt!».
- «Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night are both excellent animes.».
- «Samurai Champloo».
- «Neon Genesis Evangelion».
- «Madoka Magica and Violet Evergarden. Revue Starlight came close, however».
- «Senpai Rabbit. It's funny, touching, and every scene from it still makes me feel something. And oddly enough, Girls und Panzer! (Not because it's perfect or the best about pretty girls doing cute things, but because it shouldn't work; there's no reason for it to be so funny and so well-researched in terms of historical details. To me, that alone proves what anime can be; it demonstrates the kind of story anime can tell that no other form of entertainment can.)».
- «Made in the Abyss, Mushoku Tensei, Frieren and Non Non Biyori».
- «Ping Pong The Animation».
- «Beyond the Boundary – 12 episodes plus the movie, Kono Oto Tomare: Sounds of Life (the subsequent manga is a must-watch in my opinion). The plots in this one, including music, romance, personal struggles, and character development, are well-written, balanced, and move the story forward as a whole.».
