Re:ZERO prepares its return with a thrilling trailer

On the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels “Re:ZERO -Starting life in another world- (Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)”, a new promotional video for the third season of the project was revealed. The video confirms this The premiere remains scheduled for the summer-2024 season (October-December) with an initial 90-minute episode. The video announces that there will be a preview screening in Japanese theaters on August 30, and also shows a snippet of the musical themes, which include:

Synopsis of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Leaving the shop, Subaru Natsuki finds a bustling city inhabited by humans and demihumans. The city, which uses dragons and carriages for transportation, is clearly not the modern Japan he knows. However, as someone who spends his days engrossed in comics and games, Subaru assumes he is the protagonist of this new fantasy world, wielding supreme magical powers. Unfortunately for him, this is not the case, and things quickly go awry when he encounters a group of bandits. Fortunately, a silver-haired beauty named Satella comes to his rescue while he searches for his stolen badge.

In return for his kindness, Subaru offers to help him with the search, which eventually leads them to a loot shop. Assuming the badge has been exchanged for cash, Subaru enters the shop hoping to trade the stolen item to the owner. However, to his surprise, what awaits them is not the badge, but a brutal killer who leads them both to their deaths. But instead of waking up in the afterlife, Subaru is surprised to find himself alone in the middle of the day, as if he had never left the city. Thus, his life in another world mysteriously begins for the second time.
