There is no doubt that “Monogatari Series: Off Season and Monster"It's one of the highest-rated series of the season Summer 2024 (July to September), however, because this ranking is based on far fewer reviews than other series of the season, there is conflict over whether it can truly be considered “the best.” Obviously, the reason it has few reviews compared to other popular season premieres is that it is a sequel, and There's a lot to see before you jump into this new release.

However, fanservice is an element that has never been lacking in the “Monogatari Series” franchise and the most recent episode finally showed this. "Nademonogatari" is currently being adapted, with its only arc being "Nadeko Draw." In it, Nadeko Sengoku's parents tell her to stop loafing and graduate from high school so she can finally get a job. Obviously, this goes against Nadeko's interests, as she wants to continue honing her manga drawing skills.

Therefore, Yotsugi Ononoki gives her the idea to make four copies of herself and she will bring them to life to work as her manga assistants. This is how “Nadeko Bake” (Shy), “Nadeko Nise” (Flirty), “Nadeko Otori” (Anti) and “Nadeko Medusa” (Goddess) are created, but they end up escaping and now need to recover each one of them.

After a whole day of chasing, Nadeko falls into the trap of the "Goddess Nadeko", who created a hundred Shikigami. (servant spirits) with their appearance, they walk around the library wearing only shorts. And it was precisely this scene that became a trend, since fans who read the original work did not expect it to be faithfully adapted for the anime.

Something to remember is that “Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season” is not a television anime, but is broadcast directly on streaming platforms in Japan. (That's why it appears as an ONA on MyAnimeList). This means you don't have to follow TV rules and have much more creative freedom.
