A press release officially informed that the shoujo manga written and illustrated by Yuki Shiwasu“Tamon B-side (Tamon-kun I'm Docchi!?)", will have an anime adaptation. Although the statement included a message from the author, it didn't reveal many production details or a scheduled release date.

The author commented on this:

• «I'm so happy because I've always dreamed of my manga becoming an anime! I can't wait to see how the characters will speak and move in the anime. I'm especially curious to see what kind of songs the actors' voices will create, as it's impossible to express F/ACE's music with just words and images. The animation team is working hard to prepare the music, so I can't wait for the broadcast to start and help out as an author in any way I can!».

For its part, Yuki Shiwasu The manga began publishing through the magazine Hana to Yume from the publisher Hakusensha in August 2021, where it is still being serialized. Previously, the author had written works such as “Takane to Hana“,“Shinigami Grimm for Fukou Shounen: Shiwasu Yuki Tanpenshuu“,“Furou Kyoudai“, to name a few.

Tamon B-Side Synopsis

The idol group F/ACE has recently surged in popularity thanks to Tamon Fukuhara, their handsome, wild, and talented leader. Utage Kinoshita, 17, is one of F/ACE's most adoring fans. Because her life revolves around her adoration of Tamon, Utage works at a cleaning company to earn money and continue supporting him. When her coworker falls ill, Utage is assigned a new client with the same name as Tamon. She thinks it's a mere coincidence, until she comes face to face with the real celebrity!

His surprise only deepens when he discovers that, unlike the outgoing star known to the public, Tamon is actually a dark man, without friends or self-confidence. Because Utage's adoration for Tamon knows no bounds, she vows to keep his secret and stay by his side, but dealing with Tamon's contrasting behaviors both inside and outside of work may prove the most difficult task ever.
