During the event Anime Expo 2024 It has been officially announced that the webtoon written by Sing the Song and illustrated by Sleepy-C“Omniscient Reader", will have an anime adaptation. The statement did not reveal production details or a scheduled release date, but listed that Crunchyroll is involved in the production.

The franchise originally began as a web novel written by the creative duo Sing the Song, which became extremely popular among the reading community in South Korea. Since February 2020, the day after the novels concluded, a webtoon adaptation of Sleepy-C in Redice Studio is currently being published. The webtoon has achieved great popularity in South Korea and, thanks to translations, around the world.
Omniscient Reader Synopsis
Kim Dokja doesn't consider himself the protagonist of his own life. True to the name his parents gave him, he's a solitary person whose only hobby is reading web novels. For over a decade, he played Yoo Joonghyuk, the protagonist of the novel Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse (TWSA). Through Joonghyuk, Dokja experienced firsthand the trials of repeatedly going back in time, seeking an end to the life-threatening "scenarios" that force people to act out narratives for the amusement of the divine "Constellations."
After reading 3,149 chapters—long after all other readers have lost interest—Dokja finally resigns himself to the story's ending. However, he receives a cryptic message from the author informing him that the story will soon be monetized, before his surroundings suddenly darken. He quickly realizes that fiction has become reality, and that he now lives through TWSA. Although he is the only reader omniscient of the events to come, his success on stage is not guaranteed, but perhaps his advantage will allow him to assume the leadership role he never had before.
