For its part, <strong>Tsutomu Satou<\/strong> Yes <strong>Kana Ishida<\/strong> They started publishing light novels through the publisher <strong>Dengeki Bunko<\/strong> from the publisher <strong>Kadokawa<\/strong> in July 2011 and completed in September 2021. A sequel titled \u201c<strong>Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Magic Company<\/strong>\u201dreleased its first volume in October 2021 in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The work inspired a twenty-six-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios <strong>Hospice <\/strong>under the direction of <strong>Manabu Ono<\/strong>and released in April 2014. A film was later released in June 2017. A second season is now being produced by the studios <strong>8 bits<\/strong> It premiered in October 2020 and had thirteen episodes, followed by the special \u201c<strong>Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei: Tsuioku-hen<\/strong>\u201dIn December 2021.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Production team<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Jimmy Stone<\/strong> (<em>Death Note<\/em>, <em>Sword Art Online<\/em>, <em>Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei<\/em>) is in charge of directing the anime at the studios <strong>8 bits<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Munemasa Nakamoto<\/strong> is responsible for writing and supervising the scripts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Kana Ishida<\/strong> (<em>Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, SPY\u00d7FAMILY CODE: White, Aquarion EVOL<\/em>) is responsible for character design and animation direction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Taku Iwasaki<\/strong> (<em>Noragami<\/em>, <em>Akame ga Kill!<\/em>, <em>Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei<\/em>) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1810\" src=\"https:\/\/animangeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Mahouka-Koukou-no-Rettousei-prepara-outro-arco-com-trailer.jpg\" alt=\"Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei\" class=\"wp-image-330177\"  \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Synopsis of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>At the dawn of the 21st century, magic, long considered folklore and fairy tales, has become a systematized technology and is taught as a technical skill. At the First Preparatory School, the institution for magicians, students are segregated into two groups based on their entrance exam scores: those with high scores are sent to the First Course, while those with &quot;failures&quot; are the reserve students. The Second Course.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei follows siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba, who enroll in the First Course. Upon taking the exam, the prodigious Miyuki is placed in the First Course, while Tatsuya is demoted to the Second Course.
