Japan has failed to regulate the production of anime with content that sexualizes and normalizes the plight of children. Child exploitation is a serious problem, and now a member of parliament is back to demand a law that truly protects children.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, Japanese authorities are focused on trying to better manage their laws so they truly protect children. Congresswoman Masako Okawara introduced a petition at the 213th session to revise child protection laws that don't seem to be effective enough.<\/p>\n
